Olive Trees

Coming from the Mediterranean, Olive Trees have been grown for centuries for their oil and fruit production. Recent years have seen the olive tree become increasingly popular in the UK as

as an ornamental tree.

The perfect situation for an Olive tree is to be positioned in full sun with free draining soil. They enjoy being in pots, and are easily maintained by pruning them towards the end of July/August.

Olive trees are available at Chapmans Nurseries in a range of different shapes and sizes. Availability includes: ancient, mature, bush form, standards, bonsai and clouds.

Ideal situation: Full sun, well-drained soil

Very Hardy (-15 degrees and lower!!)
